David Richard

David Richard is an author, publisher and third-generation natural food advocate with over twenty-five years experience in the holistic health field. Mr. Richard has authored several books, including Stevia Rebaudiana: Nature's Sweet Secret (1996, 1998 and 1999); Anoint Yourself With Oil For Radiant Health (1997) and My Whole Food ABC's (1997). He co-edited and wrote the introduction for a consumer-oriented look at the benefits of organic foods in Taste Life! The Organic Choice (1998).

His work experience includes extensive studies in health and nutrition, and years in retail health food retail management. He is currently the managing editor of Vital Health/Enhancement Books in Ridgefield, CT.

David was featured in a New York Times headline story on the food disparagement laws (June 1, 1999), and he also made national news in 1998 when his Stevia book was nearly burned by the FDA in the warehouse of one of his Texas distributors. He has been interviewed on numerous radio programs as well as by print journalists.
