Stevia Sweet Recipes: Sugar-Free -- Naturally!

ISBN: 1-890612-13-8

pages: 196

Stevia is an herbal sweetener which, in its extracted form, is over 200 times sweeter than sugar! Non-glycemic, safe, and virtually calorie-free, Stevia offers a healthy, natural alternative to cooking with refined sugar or artificial sweeteners.

This book offers health-conscious readers over 165 creative recipes, developed in the Goettemoeller family kitchen, using Stevia as the sweetener. Learn how to incorporate this amazing herb into your own recipes and begin to sweeten your cookies, cakes, pies, puddings, jellies, jams, salads, sauces, and main courses the natural way -- with Stevia!

British artist Susan Cavaciuti adds 25 illustrations to this reader-friendly recipe book.

Stevia has been endorsed by the Feingold Association, by Dr. Julian Whitaker in his consumer newsletter, by the American Botannicals Council, by the American Herbal Products Association and by countless other agencies and holistic practitioners around the world.
Stevia has been thoroughly tested in safety studies and has been found to be completely safe in the modest quantities required to sweeten foods and beverages. The Japanese people currently consume the equivalent of 1000 metric tons of stevia leaves annually.
