About UsFrom Our Founder and Publisher"The quest to discover what it means to enjoy perfect health for ourselves and for our world has been a passion and lifelong avocation. Our company's mission is to be a sanctuary of reliable and truthful information about food, nutrition and health." David Richard, Publisher About UsWe at Vital Health Publishing are genuinely passionate when it comes to health, nutrition, and the well being of mankind. We have dedicated our publishing company's resources to pursue the development of the best, most reliable, leading edge and often unexpected literature on health and nutrition in this country today. We work with some of the most respected and highly sought after writers worldwide, and our editors make sure that our books present unbiased information that will honestly enrich the lives of every reader. We seek to accomplish our mission by publishing accurate, independent information our readers can rely upon and actually use, whether it is about a single nutrient like stevia or wheatgrass; about a disease like asthma and how it can be alleviated or cured; about a social group such as our children and their nutritional health; about an internationally burgeoning and potentially hazardous industry such as that which supports genetically modified foods, and what we can do to regulate it; or about the possible pitfalls -- but the many more healthy possibilities -- within the worldwide organic food movement. We need to feed more than six billion people on this planet (who would also like to be healthy), and not poison ourselves in the process. Our huge lumbering food, nutrition and pharmaceutical industries need new mandates, new directions, and new oversight. We therefore publish authors who can expose health-related problems accurately and with integrity, clarify the issues, and provide workable solutions. Many of the recommendations our authors make are followed by us here at Vital Health Publishing. For example, we eat food produced organically as much as possible, not only for our own body's health but for the health of the planet. We offer our books, videocassettes, SA-CD's and more to help you nurture and protect the gift of health. To keep up-to-date with our new projects, travels, talks with authors and complementary health practitioners, sign up for our online newsletter, Vital Health E-Letter. Here's to your health! Restaurant Review
Bonobo's Restaurant in NYC at 18 E. 23rd Street was a great recent find! We were heading for the subway stop when my 12-year-old noticed Bonobo's and begged to go in.
Bonobo's is a great find for those of us who want organic food in a hurry, and don't eat refined cane sugar.
The chef's are friendly, informative and offer samples from the display case at the front of the restaurant. You can't call it a 'cooking' area because everything at Bonobo's is raw! We tried their "signature" Red Pepper-Coconut Soup, and it is absolutely delicious!

The Tabard Inn, Washington, D.C.
May 21, 2006
I will never again drive south without going to DC! The Tabard is worth the stop to stay and to eat. Imagine stepping into a feeling--not just a place, but a place with a feeling of home and history and activism. You walk into a room with 1800’s furniture, a fireplace and friendly people sitting and chatting while waiting for their meal or listening to the jazz guitarist. And then sitting down to eat a beautiful meal that is carefully and thoughtfully prepared with mostly organic ingredients,...
